Therapy that meets you where you are — directive, warm, and responsive.
A safe, affirming space with deep experience serving the LGBTQ+ community.
I've been working as a therapist in private practice in San Francisco's Castro District for over twenty-five years. Before entering the field, I worked on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. and in business after earning an MBA — experiences that gave me a deep appreciation for the complexity of human motivation and decision-making.
I'm a graduate of the California Institute of Integral Studies, where I trained in an approach that honors multiple ways of knowing and healing across cultures and traditions. My work integrates Western psychotherapy and wisdom traditions including Buddhism and shamanism. I maintain a personal practice of meditation and yoga.
I describe my therapy style as collaborative, personable, and engaged — working with you to strategize around what you need and how therapy can help you get there. I welcome feedback throughout our work together.
Whether you're navigating personal challenges or relationship dynamics, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to explore what matters most.
Drawing on contemplative traditions and modern psychology, mindful therapy cultivates the inner observer — a non-judgmental awareness that becomes your most powerful resource for healing and growth.
